Just finished a fantastic Winter training camp with the Ritte/Castelli/Spokesman development team.
Stu Bone is creating an amateur team the likes of which I’ve never seen!
Extremely well organized event, this team is going to rock N. Cal racing this season!!
Jesse Stensland of “MovementU” and I worked last years HTC Winter training camp. She was in the fitness lab assessing riders strengths and weaknesses and assigning them workouts. I was in the fitting lab working with a team of fitters dialing the riders in on their new bikes.
The crazy thing is that these 15-19 year olds had a very similar training camp experience to the HTC camp.
Riding, eating, sitting through lectures, One on one meetings with coaching (Ben Jaques Maynes) staff, sessions with Jessi and I. Individual and group goal setting, whew!
I’m really excited to see how these guys
Do this year.

Test Event
What: Bicycle Maintenance Class
When: 10 A.M. February 10th, 2011
Where: In front of the Spokesman
Additional Info: Coffee will be piping hot at 9Am so I come and mingle with your fellow cyclists before the class. Bring your bikes because we will be learning how to patch flat tires, adjust brakes, and general maintenance. Whether you own a beat up old cruiser or a finely tuned road bike, there will be something for you to learn or people for you to meet. Our last bike maintenance had an attendance of over 20 riders and afterward we got to enjoy the fruits of our labor with a group ride up to Nisene Marks. Check back often for future events and rides put on by Spokesman Bicycles. Any additional information needed can be found by visiting the store or contacting us via email.
