The fastest ride in Santa Cruz, with a organized pace line into the headwind on Hwy 1 until a right on Bonny Doon Rd. It’s a sprint to the top of Bonny Doon until Smith Grade where riders turn around and begin the descent back to Hwy 1. Turn around with the leaders or you wont make the short regrouping at the bottom. The rest of the ride is full gas until the sprint for the Santa Cruz city limit sign.
