And that’s exactly what we did for the Ripmo V2. Active ingredients include: 29” wheels, berm-defying cornering tendencies, and a love for long rides. GEOMETRY The Rip­mo and Rip­mo AF share the same steep, 76-degree seat tube angle and a rangy but not stratos­pher­ic reach, which places rid­ers cen­tral­ly over the ped­als. It makes for an effi­cient posi­tion that can go the long haul. The slack 64.9 head­tube angle and 44mm reduced-off set fork doesn’t wan­der while climb­ing, and doesn’t hold you back descend­ing. It works — all day up, all day down, all day in between.

Once on the bike, a strange combination of performance and comfort becomes apparent. Every gram of material has a function. Beyond it is nothing, other than the endless draw of roads unknown. This is the MIN.D. (MINimal Design); it exists because it’s the road bike we wanted to ride. WHAT IS THE MIN.D.? It's about finding ways to ride further, for longer, while enjoying it. A comfortable fit geometry comes first. Our aim is sportive (we still want to go fast) but with a realistic saddle-to-handlebar drop and reach. Secondly, bad roads are one of the worst comfort killers, whether through cracks and potholes or simply through vibrations. Making your tires a tad larger is the most effective comfort boost while also improving rolling resistance and grip. Finally, we create comfort through the frame shape and layup, in particular the seat tube/seatmast and the seatstays. CONTINUOUS SEAT TUBE The continuous seat tube design is extremely small at 25mm diameter (30mm is normally the minimum if you want to fit in a 27.2mm seatpost). This change adds astonishing comfort to the frame. Removing the seatpost/seat tube overlap at the top tube also means the seat tube compliance continues uninterrupted. Our own minimalist seat tube top clamp is nearly invisible yet easily adjustable by 0-15mm and slip-proof. We even have our special MOCT saddle clamp (Measure Once Cut Twice) which is adjustable from 15-35mm. This also makes it much easier to resell your frame later on, although you probably never want to lose your MIN.D. And don’t worry about traveling with the seatmast. We recommend the Scicon Aerocomfort 3.0 which let’s you travel without even removing the saddle (up to 80cm saddle height) or by removing the saddle+top clamp (up to 85cm saddle height). You don’t even have to remove the handlebars or twist them; all you do is remove the wheels and pack the bike. This bags fits tons of gear, rolls well and offers great protection. SIMPLICITY It may sound weird that we consider this one of the most important features of the MIN.D. But as Dieter Rams said: “As little design as possible” (we highly recommend the documentary and the book). This is a pure road bike, and nothing more. Simply because it doesn’t have to be anything else. NEW ROAD HANDLING We’ve done a lot of work on steering geometry in the past five years. Some of you in the Basel area may have seen us ride around on weird concoctions with adjustable head tube angles and chainstay lengths. The MIN.D, takes everything we’ve learned from our road bike test mule and our gravel bike on/off-road geometry experiments, putting it back into a pure road bike geometry

We think by now, most of you get what Straggler is. It’s a madly versatile bike that can be used for most types of riding and riding surfaces. Better still is that you now have the option of 650b wheel size. 650b wheels were popular for a long time many years ago on ‘Constructeur’ style bicycles and we all know how real stuff was back in the day…650b wheels strike a nice balance between the benefits of both 26” and 700c sizes. The smaller wheel allows smaller riders to fit well on smaller frames, produces a stronger wheel, makes fitting big-ass tires easier and are more agile than their larger counterparts. Straggler has disc caliper mounts instead of rim brake studs. It’ll accept rotors up to 160mm. The rear dropouts are unique, too. They’re a partially closed horizontal design that accommodates singlespeed or geared drivetrains. They feature stop screws that thread in from the rear to further secure the wheel and to position the rear wheel for optimal shifting, plus a forward-mounted stop screw on the drive side to keep the wheel from slipping forward under the force of your gargantuan legs. The rear dropouts are spaced 135mm instead of 132.5mm like the Cross-Check simply because there are far more options for disc hubs in this spacing. Straggler 650b has braze-ons for fenders, racks and bottle cages. The geometry is slightly different, with angles and tube lengths very close but not identical to the Cross-Check, but like the Cross-Check it’s ready to take you just about anywhere.
